Tee Time

I love things that are clever, I mean really who doesn't? Check out the packaging for Hanger Tea! I really can't think of a more brilliant and obvious way to package tea and it is utterly adorable. Designed by Soon Mo Kang, I would be afraid that they don't actually reach down into the mug far enough to steep, or that maybe the water would make them float at first and the hanger might not keep it in place. Either way they are still fantastic and fun.

Love for Lauren

A few months ago my darling friend Brian Patrick Flynn launched his killer website/blog/online mag Decor Demon. He just featured one of my favorite people ever, my friend Lauren Rubinstein. She has been photographing MWDA work for years and she is one of my favorite people to work with, lunch with, drink with, fill in the blank__________ with. She is incredibly talented and such a joy to work with, but even better then that she is just a fabulous person. Check out Lauren's "Southern Exposure" article on Decor Demon, you will get a glimpse of her beautiful home and get to see some of her amazing work!

My new loves

One of these will be coming to live in my Master Bedroom, I just can't decide which one I like better! These are two new ceramic lamps from Robert Abbey (sorry, they are to the trade only--but I can order one for you!) the Delta with it's super fantastic geometric shape and the Isis, just tall and beautiful. They come in killer colors which will make this really fun for clients who like a bit of punch. Now if I could just decide what I want for my bedroom!

Back to Back

This was one of my favorite projects, done in my favorite building for some of my favorite people, and I am so thrilled that Atlanta Magazine picked it up. The project for us was the beginning of MWDA, it was our first full force architectural and interior project for Mark Williams Design Associates. We were fortunate to photograph it with Lauren Rubinstein (I heart her!) and style it with Annette Joesph (brilliant) and we did it on my birthday last year, so much fun! It is one project we are very proud of and so happy to see it published. Pick up another copy of Atlanta Magazine this month and check it out!

E Bella Designs

I am so excited to share a new product line that was just brought to my office. It isn't available anywhere right of the Mississippi yet but I am crossing my fingers that it will be very soon. Yummies, meet E Bella Designs by Nicole Linton, you can read all about it on their website. The abridged version is that she went to Peru, love it, and she became inspired to become a part of their cultural landscape. She founded E Bella, a fair trade and sustainable rug, throw, and pillow company. Fantastic designs, beautiful product and all made the right and fair way. E bella products are hot all over California and Colorado, and the company has been featured in some great mags like Interior Design, Elle Decor, Domino (RIP) MWDA has just discovered this fantastic collection and I am trying to do the non selfish thing by not keeping it to myself. Don't know where it will land in the ATL but keep your eyes out for it!

Adventures in Antique Stores

Check this out, Mark and I were goofing around at the 14th Street Antique Market and we came across this fantastic piece. It's just too good. In my mind it belongs in Ariel's under the sea boudoir.
