MWDA gets Trend-y again

We are always thrilled when a magazine approaches us about one of our projects, especially a national publication like Trends. Trends magazine has been good to MWDA over the years and featured us several times and when they picked up a kitchen renovation/relocation we completed for some friends we were thrilled. Our clients had a totally wasted sun room and a really tiny kitchen, so we flipped them! Look at the sectional sofa and imagine that being your kitchen...yeah, I know. Hello Yummies! Sorry again that it's been so long. This NCIDQ studying is really getting in the way of my blogging. Only a few more weeks and it will be all over with, and this fall is sure to bring some super fun design stuff & plenty of great topics!

Anyway, right now I am so super excited to announce MWDA's first national publication!!!! One of the kitchen's Mark designed has just been published by Kitchen Trends Magazine! Kitchens and Bathrooms are Mark's specialty if you will. He loves doing them and he is so good at it! You can click here to read the article online and see the photos, or go pick up a copy!

Photo Shoots...

I have said many times that photo shoots are one of my favorite things to do, for sure it is my favorite part of a project. But there is a lot that goes into them in order to get a set of great photos. On my end it means shopping trips to the florist, grocery store, and various other places for props. A million trips back and forth from the car carrying everything I just bought. And lots of coffee or some other caffeinated beverage. That's just the styling end, the photographer has a whole different list of things they have to do to prepare. Anyway, I thought I would give you a little behind the scenes look at what goes on at a photo shoot! You will be able to see the end result in Trends Ideas Magazine: Kitchens sometime late this Summer!

Simple and Stylish

I love using products for photo shoots. Pelligrino bottles are just so pretty and have such a great label on them! Their signature red star is brilliant. Simple things like this make me happy and I get so excited when they work in the shoot! You'll have to check out TRENDS Magazine to see the final product!
